The Norbers....

Oh one of my very favourite walks in the Yorkshire Dales today started at the adorable village of Austwick, then up to the old Lancaster to Richmond pack horse route which takes you to another adorable village, Clapham.  Detracted from route for a little while to climb up the hills to the Norber Erratics, a series of fascinating rocks which lounge on the landscape like giants from another world.
Thirst quenching refreshment at the New Inn at Clapham where a heron looked hopeful by the beck, a cat cosily dozed in a pram and two dogs had great expectations in Tea Time avenue... extra... couldn't resist them.... :)
