School reunion

Had a mini school reunion this afternoon! Badr (the person standing next to me) is in town from Texas and rallied as many people around to meet up for lunch. I suggested our favourite restaurant; none of them had eaten there before and they loved the food! There should have been one more person, but despite confirming in the morning, she didn't come. Such is life in Dubai...

And on the new venture front... my residence visa has come through! :D  No idea why G's didn't come the same time, but as soon as we have that, we will fly out and fly back again, and then within a week or so, have visas in our passports again!

Nice to watch the boat race in the evening. G was routing for Oxford so was very happy when they won!
