How Do You Like Your Eggs In The Morning?

Spotted this nest and solitary egg this morning, it looks like a Water Rails egg in the reference book but I suspect it is the produce of the more common Coot!
A cooler and greyer day overall today, but did get a gentle trim on the grass ( see extra ) at the front and into the orchard. A bit of house work resulting in a soap dish coming of the wall in my hand ! honest !!
