Another beautiful September day.

We went to Scarborough today for two items costing £1.99 each ( a long story!)

We had a lovely, if rather bracing walk along the full length of the the North Bay and around the headland to the harbour and back having made our purchase.

On our way back we stopped off in Helmsley for tea and had a look around the Castle where there were these rather splendid statues of mediaeval soldiers.

It was very busy everywhere - not surprising on such a nice day.
