Feeling sorry

The hound is feeling sorry for himself, not sure why. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact he has no bed in the lounge anymore, so feels he needs to take himself off to the laundry where his basket is and put himself to bed at unusual times of the day. But having a dog bed in a living area smells so I'm not sure how to fix his wee pathetic look.
