Today's the day . . . . . . . to fly away
An evening flight to Faro from Edinburgh taking off into a cloudless sky tinged with sunset orange.
An uneventful journey until near the end - when the lady sitting next to Will and I in our row of three - became ill. Lucky for her (and Ryanair) that my brother Ron - a chest physician - was on the flight. It was not the sort of limelight that he was seeking in any way - but he soon had things under control and the lady feeling much better.
We're all ready now to relax and start the holiday properly . . . . . . .
