Black cockerell

This Ayam Cemani Indonesian chicken is black all the way through apparently. Even his bones are black.

Stuart isn't well. I thought it odd that he didn't come out to play when I had guests yesterday. He loves a bit of chat.

This afternoon I had a look inside is cage as he hadn't appeared to have eaten anything. There he was sitting under the stairs, his heart beating but I think he may have had a stroke. 

I picked him up gently and tried to feed him water from my finger tip. He did not drink it. Nor did he eat the blueberry I peeled for him.

I have put him on a bed of cotton wool so he is comfortable.

That's all I can do.
