Now and Then

This Sunday was mostly taken up with a ‘Table Top’ sale.  At extra there is a shot at one of the busy periods.  We sold all of five cards, and we did better than most!!!
 
To pass the time away I discussed with others a print of a very old photograph on the wall inside the village hall.  It was (is) of the church taken a LONG time ago.  On of the things that ages it is the lack of war memorial, so the shot must have been taken before the 1920’s.
 
After the “sale” (for want of a better word) I set off with the 7D to get a ‘Now’ shot from the same spot.  Due to a hundred years of tree growth this was as near as I could get.  Apart from the war memorial we have gained a clock.
 
Sorry about the quality of the shot of the picture – only had the telephone, and I could not really go turning off pesky lighting in the wrong places, could I.  Maybe I’ll get another better shot another time.
