Flopped

Last week the local supermarket were selling a variety of house plants at half price so I only paid £1.50 for these Hyacinths and was chuffed to see that, of the three bulbs, I had five inflorescences.
Although they have only lived in the cool utility room they took no time in bursting into flower and subsequently flopping over. I don't care, the freezer lid is big enough for them to spread as far as they like.
