contemplating the sun

steph was just standing on the bridge contemplating the sun. soaking it in. it was wonderful.. and i felt bad after i creeped up extra close to get some shots of her face. she was so peaceful.

walking tour of berlin today.. in the snow! what a wonderful treat to wake up to huge snowflakes falling down from heaven.

couldn't sleep last night.. i was up way later than i should have been. i suppose that means it will be that much easier to return to texas time.
only about four more full days here. they just seem to pass on by (mainly because it's not hard for me to sleep in whereas at home i never sleep past 7).

mary caroline left texas for atlanta today. sad. my dear friend won't be home when i return.
we're coming to visit you!! road trip! i just don't know when yet.

i've been munching on some red caviar and toast, sipping some chamomile tea, and finishing that all off with some shortbread.

stephanie and coco are taking me to a veritable german restaurant tonight so i can get my fill of sausages and mustard with some great beer.

*edit. took the picture of the stadtbibliotek down.. i just love this one. i know what it's like to miss the sun.... no more.
