Beneath High Snockrigg

This small terrace of cottages nestles in the hamlet of Buttermere. They sit at the foot of the wonderfully named fell, High Snockrigg. On a rather overcast afternoon, I was struck by the variety of greens which colour the landscape at this time of year, from the dark green of ivy and Scot's Pine and the bright green of fresh grass to the velvety green of moss and the fellsides.
