Beginning!
We drove to Porlock Weir, then caught the bus to Minehead which only runs weekdays every two hours. We then did the first stage of the South West coastal path. I was keen to take the rugged path which did add an hour to our walk but was most enjoyable. With views over to the Welsh border and winding Exmoor countryside, we finished just under 10 miles in 5.75 hours. We had 40 minutes to spare on our car park ticket. The extra shows our destination but it was a long way round from when I took this shot.
