Just barely visible at the top is famous blipper Paul, ready to brave the interior of one of the city's buses, such as which are responsible for the giant dip in the road I was trying to glance down at in order to try and remember it sufficiently to be able to Fix My Street it. The outsides of buses can be dangerous enough even when propelled by the relatively respectful fleet of drivers employed by Lothian Buses so the insides must be very risky things to enter. At some point I shall attempt to travel to work using a bus just to get a time for the journey to compare to the minimal walking and cycling journey-times, but even if it turned out to be massively quicker (which it wouldn't, at least not while Princes Street is trambollocksed) I doubt it would be as pleasant a way to get to work as bicycling.
