Day 3 and we realised that all the bricks and plaster that has come tumbling down meant we needed a plasterer. And quick.

To the rescue came my mate and next-door neighbour, R. He employs four said tradesmen for his flood and dry fixing company (no, we don't need him for that smart alecs...) and set two of them to start work with us on Friday.

It has thrown our schedule, but the significant  upside (silver lining and all that) is that B, from our electrical contractors, can do the "first fix" for all the lights from below, and not through the upstairs floorboards...
