Orchids

I usually shy away from flower photos as I could easily fill this journal with the variety I am exposed to here in the tropics. This orchid, however, is an exception because my wife waits all year for it to bloom in our back patio. When it finally does, it is cause for great celebration (well, at least a few photos). It did bloom while I was in Cabo and my wife took a good photo of it for Facebook (better than mine actually), but I wanted to document this year's significant blossoms (these are three of the more than 20 that grace this long stalk).
