Visiting memories

My memory or rather lack of has been highlighted on this trip home. Either trying to tell a story and forgetting the main plot or names, or when I asked mum if she already had the book I gave her for Mother's Day. Yes she got it for Christmas from me too. So tonight at Alisons I comment on how nice her glasses are only to then realise I bought them for her as a wedding present.
Oh well. She's now a new Blipfoter as I told her about how good it is given my poor memory. Hehe!
Lovely day. Walk to town from Gulberwick to blow of the wine cobwebs, mums to pick up the lasses and watching them with the dolls house again was lovely. Then up to whalsay for the night. We visited poor broken armed Mary after tea. Then back to Alis for some mulled wine, in beautiful glasses ;-)
Lovely catching up, even if we canna mind what we're speaking about!
