092 — At the Beach

We abandoned our plans for an overnight stay in the Peak District. Elowyn is in the middle of a mental leap making her somewhat more troublesome and in need of familiar and comforting things, especially at night. We were all tired already.

The weather was too nice to stay at home though and I have been not so patiently waiting to take Elowyn to the seaside for her first time.

We drove up and after a stressful visit to Southport we arrived at Formby Point.

The sea blew her mind and she seemed instantly at home in the sand and the waves. Such a great beach. She soon tired and all too soon it was time to leave.
