Betty the Bottle Opener

I took her outside so she could have a nice background for her portrait.  The spots are from a few drops of rain. 

For the first time in about a week I saw the news and was horrified at the devastation up north from the storms and floods.  I heard a man interviewed yesterday who had held a 25 year old horse's head up out of the water for about 5 hours during the night and saved it.  There are more "tails" of heroism and a very sad tale of two women who appear to have drowned.  My thoughts are with those affected.
