Jardin des Plantes

Late this afternoon, after much work cleaning the apartment before tomorrow's departure, we went to this marvelous park in Paris. The image shows only a small fraction of it, with one of the buildings of the Natural History Museum in the background.  Our main objective was a superb outdoor exhibition  of bears in the arctic, photographed by Vincent Munier, a marvelous French wildlife photographer, who is a friend of our friend Aude, and whom I met briefly a dozen years ago at the Bosque Del Apache, when we were both photographing Sandhill Cranes.
