Buda Palace

After breakfast we enjoyed a walk, bus trip and then boat ride around Budapest to get a feel for this lovely Hungarian City. It's vibrant, relaxed, reasonably priced, and super to enjoy a few days break.

The photo I like best from the day is the imposing Castle and Palace complex that dominates the Buda side of Budapest.

Buda Palace is the historical castle and palace complex of the Hungarian kings in Budapest, and was first completed The first royal residence on the Castle Hill was built by King Bela IV of Hungary between 1247 and 1265. (It's comprehensive history is here )
