To St Ives

A damp start to the day today as we set off to St Ives after breakfast but it was an improving sort of day and by the time we were leaving the typical St Ives colours were well and truly on display. We headed in on the train from Lelant Saltings and, whilst we didn't get as wet as last year, it was definitely colder than expected.

We headed for a drink and a warm once we arrived and then the bestest friend and I started our shopping before we were joined by the others. A few items purchase before we had lunch in The Sloop Inn. And, by the time we came out, there was blue sky and gorgeous waves and two lighthouses to try the new camera out on.

A failed hunt for fresh crab meant that we headed out to the pub for tea tonight. The second one was a real find. We enjoyed our food and beer and Bailey enjoyed the attention.
