Girl in a Red Bikini

Predominantly watercolour with acrylic bunting and highlights. I think next time I'll try letting the white paper do the job of highlights, although this demands more control with the brush. Had a bit of time last night, so thought I'd pick up the brushes again as I wasn't enjoying the Surrealist tv programme I 'd intended watching. (maybe I should have persevered!)
Looking with a critical eye, I think now that the girls lower half is slightly too large. Notice how I've sidestepped the added complication of painting hands and feet by cropping the painting.
