As a young man, Herbert Hoover spent one summer or so in the town of Newberg, Oregon. One summer. That seemed to have been enough time for every other thing in Newberg either being named "Hoover" or having some kind of Hoovery connection. The local university, George Fox, even has a wing named after Herbie. I volunteered there today, and took a minute to get a picture of the former President. Again, I used the camera on my phone. I know, I know, I have a great actual camera, but I don't think this picture is half bad.
