September Glow

This morning abruptly returned rush to the position relaxation had occupied all summer. Gratefully, our non-school schedule dictated family member, Jeff, rose early to send us on our way to the first day with smiling java.

Made for the perfect start, even if lingering over a steaming cup in the armchair while savoring a good read might have been preferred.
