DERELICT AND RATHER WILD
this little stone house in the Reinhardswald forest.
In the morning I removed many beech sprouts, because I do not want to be surprised by them when we come back from our journey to The Hague.
We will travel on Friday, happy to see Mischa again, and her new cat Jet.
In the afternoon we drove to the Invalidenhaus, parked there for our start of our walk. A narrow climbing path, following the river Diemel, with at some point nice views upon the Diemelhöhe, the Krukenburg ruin, and in the far distant the Deiselberg.
The weather had been pleasant till then, but while we walked it changed a lot.
A cold wind, the sun had disappeared, and we were not clothed for it.
Nevertheless it was an adventurous walk, after climbing, we did descend in a steep way till we reached the Sonnenweg, the path along the Diemel that we often walk.
It is my entry for Derelict Sunday, huge thanks to Marlieske and also for Wild Wednesday, marvellously hosted by Cailleach.
