Dalkeith Country Park
Spent the larger part of the day with Donald in Dalkeith whilst we killed time waiting for a garage to fix his van. So, charity shops; a great cafe for a bacon roll and pot of tea; a visit to the graveyard; a wonderful walk along the river where many species of wild flowers were to be seen (including my 'must spot' primroses, oh so pretty my heart sang) and where deer and hares ran across our paths; a very short haircut for Donald at a little Barbers and finally a wait at the bus stop for the No. 3 bus back to Edinburgh in order to meet my nephew at Peters Yard. Later when strolling homewards Yorick and I came upon the distinguished figure of HL as in the male half of the 'Findhorn' regality.
