Thing

A good day but not a photogenic one.  From Cambridge we headed down to Colchester to visit E's aunt and have lunch with a dear friend.

Unfortunately, Colchester to Malvern is not a route to take around rush-hour timing so we chose a 'scenic' route.  Hearing reports of gridlock on the A14, we were relatively happy to be picking our way across the minor roads of Northamptonshire instead.

Stopped for something resembling tea at Banbury services.
