A Barrel of Laughs

The directors of NHSBT were meeting in Manchester today and we were invited to breakfast with them. It was between 8:30 and 9:15. The traffic into town is usually a nightmare in the early morning rush hour so I left home about five past seven. I forgot that the schools are off and so I was in work by 7:35...doh.

Only four of us went to the breakfast, but we talked with some of the top dogs. I was a driver today and we weren't out until 11:40 so it was a long morning. It has been an even longer day because I didn't arrive home until 22:25...I am completely shattered. Now I'm wishing I hadn't booked a doctors appointment for 8:10 tomorrow morning....sigh!
