Celebration - achievement!

I've only managed, some how, to have worked for the Local Authority for 20 years!!! Today was an award ceremony at the local conference centre, award presented by the Mayor. There was presentations from the Chief Executive, the leader of the Council and then a speaker (Dr Peter Honey). (I'm on the left.)

This evening out for a meal again at a local Italian restaurant in Wentworth. They gave us a menu when we entered (lunch and early evening) but when we went to order from it they said it was past 6 so not able to order from it; food very nice; atmosphere noisy (sitting out in the terrace); when paying the bill we were £1.35 short and the waitress said "don't worry"! Strange ..... could be that service charge was included (of 10%) and as long as the "bill" was covered it was ok.
