Power

Busy day but pretty good-powered through quite a lot (although the intray never seems to empty!).
Another interview-this time for someone to work with VW. Think we've got a good one (phew!)
Networking group in the afternoon then we headed to the Scottish Parliament for discussion between our group and delegates to a European conference we're hosting. Good conversation and story swapping, then great guided tour of the building (love all the intricate and swooping shapes) before reception and dinner..Some very interesting conversations about fragility and pressure of early career academic roles, gender, culture, festivals, Bjork, underground cities and the waste industry
Home, shattered but stimulated! There is TOO MUCH to do before 6.30am Saturday morning!
