DOWN THE DRIVE:

I'm very late putting up a blip, my apologies. I had to have my legs checked at a clinic in Frankton, which meant another series of painful injections & I haven't been long home. As I went along the drive I didn't think it looked too bad, so took this photo - the light was so flat & I wished for the sun - but you can't have everything in this life !

Not a spit in the rain gauge (!) but when I see the devastation in the North Island, I realise it is better to have none, than water through your house. I will probably lose a few trees, but that is nothing compared to losing your house. My heart aches for those coping with such devastation.
