The Iron Duke

We went to Wellington's place of residence in London. It's former address was 1, London. No excuses for forgetting then. Inside it's a startling exhibition of the various works of art and memorabilia he collected throughout his life. There are lots of valuable paintings by the likes of Velasquez, Goya, Rubens and the like. Despite all this I found myself drawn to a display case containing his ear trumpet and a pair of his false teeth - philistine that I am. 
Strictly no pics inside - so we have this rather splendid equestrian statue outside. Definitely worth a visit if you have any interest in the great man.
