Another day..........more problems

Today was the day for my new burglar alarm to be fitted now the new doors are in place. Unfortunately the engineer was having major problems with the control panel not recognising the wireless sensors. After much head scratching and talks with the manufacturer's helpline, the engineer went back to the office to try the sensors on another older control panel in case it was a software issue. They didn't work on the other panels either. So the manufacturer looks like they either have a faulty batch of sensors or a faulty manufacturing process. So he's now fitting an interim system until the manufacturer solves the problem which hopefully won't be long.The photo shows him disconnecting the old system when he first arrived.
