Score!

Opening game of the D-League Basketball Playoffs: our own Santa Cruz Warriors vs Oklahoma City at the sold-out local Kaiser Permanente Arena. It was a close exciting game, with the Warriors winning by one point, just in the nick of time. We don't go to many games, but this was a great choice. Even I, the non-sports-fan, am looking forward to following this contest.

I learned a little bit about sports photography: don't be parallel to the action, or you risk having everyone be blurry. And, really, don't rely on a point and shoot. I had lots of fun gauging the right time to push the button, so I had lots of telling moments, but most of them are trash as far as focus goes.
