a bit of home

Away down South, in York. We walked along the town wall, checked out the church and hospital ruins and the Roman remains. We visited the minster and climbed the tower. The minster is well impressive. We found a nice off-licence and got some drinks which we consumed sitting in the sun by the Ouse. We also found a bit of Germany, the place where Christmas lasts all year. I was particularly amused by the Union Jack Christmas baubles.
