Roadside beauty

Last day today for just over 2 weeks!! I am ecstatic! 
Still feeling below parr with my cold I went for a trip to see how the Early purple orchids I blipped the other day are coming on.
I was really pleased to see they are coming along nicely, and those that were only in bud are now in full bloom.
Laying down on my stomach, on the grass verge in front of the car a lovely lady stopped her car to ask if I was OK, I did feel a little foolish admitting I was fine, just photographing wild orchids!!
I chose this shot, as it goes well with my verges project, and shows what beauty can be overlooked just beside the road.
