Ilse

Guess it is time to baton down the hatches.  I had a trip into Ayr today to go and register for a postal vote in the local elections.  Mrs F and I are going for a week away in the caravan that week so need to do my democratic duty before I go.
 
Down at the harbour I found the Ilse closing her hatches before heading out to sea.  Quite a cool system they have.  The hatches fold up to the aft and bow for unloading and then slide back into place when finished.  It was a one guy operation to close all of them down.
 
The caravan is pre packed ready for our trip tomorrow, just the food and drink left to go into it.
