Lots of Gold Flakes

After all the rain and wind we woke this morning to clear sky's and a frost.

We went to the Food and Wine Show today. John was doing all the drinking while I was sampling all the interesting foods.

The Bottles on the right was Royal Dragon Vodka with infused with the edible 23 carat gold leaves. John never sampled that one. The bottles looked so interesting.

The other gold looking bottles have fine pieces of 22-carat gold leaf, designed to highlight its natural effervescence. I did try that one and it was lovely.

I may be going away to Akaroa for the night tomorrow. My son is taking me over.
