And they said it would never last...

Well it did! For the last 30 years this lump of three colour Dakota 'Black Gold' has adorned my beloved's podgy finger. Over the last few weeks however, things have gone wrong. It's gone from bad to worse. She's become moody, agitated, unpredictable, even, dare I say it, unstable. Much like the previous 30 years. Well today when she got up we both realised it could go on no longer. We had to do something. It was a sad moment, a drastic move but you just know when the time has come. The pic above is the result of three decades of dedication and devotion. All over in a snip!

This morning her finger turned purple. OK, so it was a similar shade to her varicose veins but she wasn't to be placated by colour matches, she had it off.
