Hand Made

This square scarf was hand woven by an old man up Strath Halladale, he made it with a loom in a wee shed on his croft.

He was old when mum bought it for me forty plus years ago, so I expect he is long gone now. I can't remember his name but I could take you to his cottage cos we often visited.

I found the scarf the other day when I was clearing out a cupboard, so will now put it somewhere safe and let the kids know its value.
