Dancing in the Street

Basil and I caught the bus into town to go to the hairdressers. A pair of buskers had stationed themselves outside Burtons (see extra), and were playing rock n' roll.

I was delighted that this couple responded to the music and started jiving in the marketplace. It would have been better if that white van hadn't been parked there.

The musical combo comprised a double bass and electric guitar, with amps, naturally. They called themselves the Moonshiners and they were certainly raking in a collection.

Later we went to see Sue and Kal and from there to East Leake where Alex fitted my knee with my new support. The knee feels a lot more stable with that on.

A walk on Meadow Park for Baz and a chat with Hayley who just had to go two doors up to see her friend and find out what she could about the moonlight flit of the florist on the corner!
