Heading home

My morning started at the Quays, a delegation up from London. Some had come the previous evening, but most were up to catch the 6am train to Manchester Piccadilly. It was all interesting stuff. 

Since Monday it has been very grey and overcast, so it was with sheer pleasure that I looked out of this window at Piccadilly station to view a blue sky and everyone heading home for the weekend. It was not like this when I started my meeting in a windowless room.

The distant hills look inviting. Let's hope it's a fair weather weekend.

Shame about the window reflections, but hey ho - it's Friday.
