House Building
A year and a day ago I blipped Mrs Blackbird doing precisely the same thing, so they obviously keep a diary. Dad Blackbird vanished into the bush that they tried and abandoned last year. I realised why they might have abandoned it when a young magpie took a headfirst dive into the bush. What the magpie's parents obviously failed to tell him was that nest construction sites don't contain eggs - yet. But no doubt he'll keep trying. What's annoying is that someone is coming to cut back my bushes next weekend, and if ever a bush needed trimming it's that one. But obviously it can't be cut back if it's being turned into a nursery.
I wish I didn't always do my lawn blips when the grass desperately needs cutting!
