Another project

The pergola has been looking shabby, so we bought some paint.  I took the dogs for their afternoon walk and lo and behold I returned expecting to find a newly painted pergola, but no, the pergola was almost gone and 
A was up the ladder wielding a saw.  The old timber was rotten and beyond repair.
