Defending the realm - Blue is the colour

One of the small canons on sandgate castle, clearly defending the saga headquarters behind it! Ha ha. Sandgate castle itself is an artillery fort and was constructed for Henry VIII in 1540. SAGA is the company for over 50's holidays and insurance!

We spent today walking along the seafront from Hythe, through Sandgate and halfway to Folkestone and then back again in glorious sunshine.
