Fallen Angel

I noticed this flower, broken stemmed and crumpled, last night and brought it into the house.  A little water and my fallen angel is revived beautifully.  Anemone nermorosa 'Robinsoniana', a blue form of the Wood Anemone.

Jacinta's Mum gave her asparagus crowns for  Christmas two years ago.  Today she cut the first spears which were delicious :-)

Back to work this afternoon after over two weeks off .....
