Sunset practise

I learnt this morning that the Village Show (September) photographic competition subject is a Sunset so I thought I had better start practising.  I went through the orchard at the rear of our home to Molly's field which is nearly always home to a small herd of cattle.  
My little point and shoot Coolpix is not too keen on looking at the sun and I seemed to get my best shots when I managed to find a tree or something similar to block it.  Not really what the exercise is all about! 
Must do better.
