The accidental finding

Carrie Fisher remembered in Camberwell

Here I am in London, house and cat sitting. Very quiet, apart from the occasional plane overhead, and the Chinese water -torture of the clock on the kitchen boiler, which records the passing of each second in an EXCEEDINGLY LOUD fashion. It can be heard all.ocer the ground floor. Better go upstairs, then...

The cats are beautiful tabbies, brother and sister. I've started making friends with the boy. He told me he'd rather he out all night. There's a small.garden, and for human, a park at the end of the road. After travelling here by coach and bus and resting a while, I took a stroll down the road to Peckham. I didn't go all the way down to my.old haunts, because that time was almost 30 years ago, and much has changed. Just went to LIDL, and found a promising charity shop. It has a jigsaw for £1 and a denim.jacket for £4...

Tomorrow I am off to a workshop in Highgate. I must plan the journey. I'm off the tube here in Camberwell.

I've chosen this image because I loved Carrie Fisher's writing, always witty. And I wanted an urban view, for a change.
