Sav's Half Century!

Lots of wandering around today.

We started at the National Railway Museum, then walked back to town with the idea of doing the chocolate story tour, but then didn't! Sav tried on a flat cap though, as we're in Yorkshire. He didn't buy it though!

Still quite full from breakfast, we had coffee and olives for lunch, then went to the Minister to have a look around.

We did the tower tour - having paid £10 to enter, then £5 for the tour we were expecting a bit more than just being allowed to climb up the tower, walk around it, then go back down again. No talk by a member of staff either before or after the climb. If you want a badge to say you've done the climb, you have to fork out another £3. We didn't bother.

We returned to the b'n'b for a shower and change of clothes before heading out to Ask Italian for dinner. Nice food and nice wallpaper on the wall in the loo's!

After dinner we went to a pub called The Yorkshire Terrier for a drink. It was a bit quiet, being a Thursday night. In fact there was only one other chap in there apart from the barman, and he soon left! We chatted to the barman for a while, but by 10pm we were feeling the day's walking so headed for bed!
