"It's about time you started enjoying yourself..."
Another glorious day - we feel so lucky to have had this weather this week. We have packed all sorts into our last day and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves (unlike the boy on the beach whose Mum was berating him for not visibly enjoying himself enough!)
We started off in Watergate with the official Bailey sitter having a surf lesson at 9:30. She surfed for two and a half hours and we watched and took lots of photos. We also had a drink in the refurbished Beach Hut looking out across the bay.
Lunch outside at Wax once the surfers were changed and then over to Mawgan Porth for some things to take home. The favourite and the official Bailey sitter were dropped off in town to have a look at a surf board that we saw yesterday. They returned with big smiles and a decision made and carried out for an 18th birthday present.
The final surf of the holiday over at Crantock and a return journey along and across the Gannel with the bestest friend and Bailey. Long shadows by then but the tide was far enough out for us to cross and get back up through the garden - without anyone or anything getting wet.
And our final tea at The Stable - lovely food and cider some of which was walked off on the walk home - though not across the beach.
All in all, I think it would be fair to say that we have all looked like we have enjoyed ourselves this week.
